Nobody was injured following an explosion in Gothenburg.
Around 9:30 Wednesday morning, the Gothenburg Volunteer Fire Department responded to a call at a home in town.
Volunteer Fire Chief Mark Ballmer has confirmed that a heating and cooling company was installing new equipment and did not fully shut off the gas. He said the oversight led to a water heater igniting, triggering an explosion.
